Cool Beans - Cold Brew and Cafe

Gen Z have set the trend for social gatherings free from alcohol and drugs. Cool-beans cafes have grabbed this new opportunity, redefining sober spaces as a vibrant and lively place to hang out whilst enjoying delicious caffeinated beverages. 

The branding plays around with words keeping the tone very tongue in cheek and not too serious! We embraced a fresh youthful aesthetic, with a feeling of effortless freedom. Stark white sets off the logo giving impact, and gives a nod to the clean sharp flavours of the drinks. The word mark pays homage to the rainbow and queer communities with the spectrum of greens and blues. Furthermore the word-mark uses warping to ooze movement and energy, in a display of liberation. Cobalt blue contrasts hard with a soft mint green. We got into the nitty gritty details for this one, exploring a variation of word marks, printing on contrasting fabrics.

The visual, material, sound and taste of a can of cold brew hits many sensory markers, providing a non alcoholic alternative. Both the 330 and 220ml cans of cold brew coffee offer an uplifting and sober alternative to canned beer and RTD’s as the usual suspects at social gatherings.
